I worked down the street from Square One. When it first opened I went there a couple of times a week, and the service was fast because it wasn't known yet.The french toast is awesome and the sandwiches with alioli are great too. Then it started to get busy, and the service was slow and sometimes the food was cold. The food is very good - just make sure you plan for a wait to get it. I think with better planning on their part the service could be a lot quicker.

There's frequently a wait for a table her during weekend brunch hours, but it's a nice spot with good outdoor patio. Very family friendly; good egg-centric "skillets" on the menu.

Went for the first time this morning for brunch. Had the banana French toast, the Benedict with salmon, chorizo and egg skillet. All delicious! Would totally come back to try some other stuff! The orange juice is really fresh! Small cup tho :)

Love coming here for brunch on the weekends. Love the portobello eggs benedict and the braised greens with poached eggs. The patio is really nice when the weather's pleasant. Friendly staff and great service.

Best french toast in LA hands down! There's seating both inside and out. Omelets and coffee are great too!

Waitress was nice. French toast was a little too sweet.

Came here for brunch once. Seemed like a pretty cool place but the food was a major disappointment. My coffee had fat floating all over it. Super dry and tough sausage. Well, Jake Gyllenhal was sitting next to us but he couldn't save the morning :)
