Established in 1956 by the Rocca Family, Original Joe's Restaurant in San Jose, California has been the cornerstone of an ever-changing downtown and the growth of Silicon Valley. Descended from the first Original Joe's founded in 1937 in San Francisco, the San Jose Original Joe's was the first San Francisco based restaurant to open in San Jose in the South San Francisco Bay Area now known world wide as the heart of Silicon Valley. Today Original Joe's continues to serve its cuisine with a traditional San Francisco flair. My wife and I had patiently been waiting for 30 minutes for a table for two. A couple of people the Host must have knew entered and were immediately seated right in front of us like we were not even there. Please boycott OJ until they can learn to respect people. Thank You.

Food is wonderful and service is great. Love that they are open so late. Go go go. Could be a little cheaper but still give them a five star

Original Joe's has been around for over 50years. Their staff is trained for old fashion great service. An Italian restaurantwith an American flavor. Plenty of food with drinks to match. Try the half and half. Half spaghetti/Half ravioli. Delicious!

That sounds just like the Original Joe's we enjoyed so much when I was attending San Jose State College in 1961-1963. And the half spaghetti/half ravioli was the meal we always ordered. The waiter that always waited on us was so good with our two girls, who were 2 and 3 to 3 and 4 at the time. I'd love to go back again.
