I understand attorneys are busy, and my case is not the only one they are working. However, there is a level of responsibility that must be met and that includes informing their client how their case is progressing, and being honest. I do not believe that is the case here. My case was transferred to a litigation attorney at this law office 1 year ago. I was involved in a serious accident that incurred scarring, and the inability to function normally for almost 3 months. In addition, there were a number of medical bills that were incurred. I have managed to speak with the "litigation attorney" once in the last year. I have made upwards of 40 calls and left numerous messages. Most of the time I was blocked by the receptionist or directed straight to voicemail. The male receptionist would recognize my name and rudely state "he will call you back". The only conversation included the false reassurance that things would be moving faster, and he was making serous progress with my case. This was almost 1 year ago.... Since then the "litigation attorney" has screened my calls and otherwise manages to continually dodge any interaction or information. I would suggest anyone experiencing similar problems file a complaint with State Bar of California.
