California Pizza Kitchen

California Pizza Kitchen, founded in 1985, is one of the leading casual dining chains in the United States. The restaurant chain features a range of hearth-baked pizzas, including the original BBQ Chicken Pizza and a selection of pasta dishes, salads, appetizers, soups, sandwiches and desserts. Of the chain s more than 240 restaurants, over 200 are company-owned and approximately 40 operate under franchise or license agreements. California Pizza Kitchen also operates more than 25 restaurants internationally in China, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico, South Korea, Guam, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates. The restaurant chain has over five company-owned CPK ASAP locations and approximately 15 airport locations franchised by HMSHost Corporation. Included in the chain s portfolio of concepts is LA Food Show Grill & Bar, which has locations in Manhattan Beach and Beverly Hills in California. Additionally, California Pizza Kitchen has a licensing arrangement with Kraft Pizza Company, which manufactures and distributes a line of California Pizza Kitchen premium frozen pizzas.
